It is no secret that we have been planning a timetable shake-up for 2018. We have been engaged in a little research and development for the last few months to ensure that we get our timings as well as our formats right. So after much deliberation and shuffling around we can finally launch it to you. Effective Monday 5th February:
These classes involve more complex exercises with higher loads and intensities done in a time format. Things like strongman classes fall in this category, or our Force-velocity circuits and any freedom the coach may want to do throughout a class. These two classes will be held on Thursday night and Saturday morning.
There will be an additional Rip in like Rambo class on Wednesday evening which will proceed the original. The first class will start at 6:30pm and the second 7:00pm. We are hoping this will allow greater participation, particuarly for those who couldn’t make the previous time of 6:15am due to traffic or work. We have also added a Monday morning Licorice Allsorts at 5:45am. This is a little 30min belter done at the start of the week to get rid of the sins felt from the weekend. A great way to start the week.
In order to accommodate those wishing to attend mid-morning sessions but who struggle with congestion on the roads, we have moved our these sessions to a later start time of 9:15am.
There will be two Mama Strength sessions on offer on a Monday and a Friday. One at 9:00am and one at 9:30am. The sessions will allow for a maximum of 5 participants. Bookings will therefore be mandatory (unless you want to try your luck and just rock up – but the caps will be strict and you may be turned away). The sessions will run for 30 minutes. In addition, Mama Strength is no longer be a part of the unlimited classes timetable. In order to attend these sessions you must have a Mama Strength membership. The membership.
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the retirement of our Prehab class. For those of you who turned up for these week-in and week-out, we are truly sorry. Those that were fans were loyal however there just weren’t enough of you to justify keeping it on the timetable. We still value the importance of such a class, and will be introducing a new prehab space complete with video sessions to ensure you are all partaking in this crucial component of S&C. Each week will feature different programs to do to aid all those mobility issues we all face.
Open gym has been extended from 5:30am -10:30am weekdays and 4:30pm to 7:30pm Monday to Thursday. A combined 8 hours a day for most of the week where you can come in do a session. For a little gym that isn’t half bad. The times are both before and after most people’s work times, so it should be a good fit for most of our clientele. Saturday the Open gym time is still the same 8-9am
Creche will now be available for the Monday and Friday Mama Strength sessions as well as, Tuesday’s and Saturday’s EST classes.
