Introduction

Sport and fitness has always played a big part in Brett’s life, whether it be playing social (very social) sport or going to the gym to train with his favourite coach.

Inquisitive by nature, Bretty is not afraid to question how and why things work so he decided to take on a Cert 3 in fitness for a bit of ‘fun’ and also to understand more of what he was doing in the gym and why. This quickly became a passion project and followed closely with a Cert 4. Now Brett is keen to work in a space where he feels he can truly make a difference and impart some of the knowledge that he has gathered over his lifetime journey of fitness. He believes that results can be found through hard and honest work and motivates groups of people by creating a fun, interactive, and hard (but fair) environment.

Intent on enhancing his clients experience through his own, he is not a believer in ‘all work, no play’ and loves to escape to experience new countries, cultures, sights and most importantly food. If you caught a glimpse of his Instagram feed you’ll soon get the idea.

Brett has been a part of the Hammer Athletic family as a client since 2008 and joined the ‘dark side’ when we opened our new facility in November 2014. It was an absolute no-brainer when we learned that Brett wanted to be involved in group conditioning – he lives the hammer philosophy through and through (he’s not a bad bloke either, terrible banter though). You’ll find Brett instructing our EST and Rip in like Rambo classes amongst other things.
